Ludovico Einaudi
in Abu Dhabi — Concert Tickets

Ludovico Einaudi is an Italian pianist and composer, born in Turin in 1955, who trained in composition at the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan before turning to the spare, repeating piano music he is known for today. Pieces such as Nuvole Bianche, Una Mattina and Primavera have travelled far outside classical audiences, and his music carries the films The Intouchables, Nomadland and The Father. In January 2027 he comes to Abu Dhabi for one evening.

For the Abu Dhabi date Einaudi is joined by the UAE's national orchestra, so the piano lines that fans know from his solo records are heard with an orchestra around them. The concert takes place at Etihad Arena, the indoor arena on the Yas Bay waterfront of Yas Island that has hosted concerts and international sport since it opened in 2021.

An evening with Ludovico Einaudi rests on the style that made his name: minimalist structures and repeating melodic patterns, with the piano at the centre. Orchestral writing is not new to him: the 2006 album Divenire set his piano against an orchestra, and The Summer Portraits pairs it with a string orchestra.
